When you imagine the work that would have gone into creating just the fabric for this dress it is mind boggling! The dress is completely covered in hand placed, hand applied bead work mixed with embroidery. Stunning pink toned embroidered flowers sit within the bead work and each is finished with two sparkling rhinestones at their centers. All the bead work is done on a pale pink silk organza that sits over an inner pink silk crepe. This makes for an additional layer of texture sitting just under the outer layer of hand work. The dress is sheath like with a nipped in wast and a simple sleeveless bodice. It has a scooped back and neck and a long slim pencil skirt. The Branell lable was a favorite of Grace Kelly and it is easy to see why with this absolutely wonderful dress. Really remarkable and to find a modern equivalent you would have to add a few zeroes to our price. Exceptional and in excellent condition. The interior layer of silk acts as the lining. The dress closes with a back painted metal zipper. All the bead and embroidery work is hand done. Perhaps there is the very occasional missing bead or sequin but I see no areas of missing or bare areas.
