Razai Sham Poppy Stripe in ParakeetThe Razai Sham is designed to keep individuals cool in summer and warm in winter. This was done by hand quilting, varying the volume of cotton between two layers of the finest mil. The modern day version is adapted with a single layer of cotton padding held in place by hand sewing which traditionally goes in circles or straight lines to mimic the movement of sand.
